After I completed the Midwest Mustang Challenge I was left with a
void.  I had made so much progress with Addie and I could see so
much potential in her that I was longing for another project.  I got this
BLM mustang in June 2008.  He had not been tamed or trained, and
only had minimal handling.  Little did I know that he had the complete
opposite personality of Addie, he is extremely insecure, nervous,
worried and really doesn't want to investigate anything.  It's been a
struggle and we still have a long way to go, but he's special in his
own way.  I have learned so much in dealing with his issues, I've
made some great contacts, gotten great advice and it has reminded
me that I've always got more to learn.  My goal with him is to be able
to compete in Dressage some day. He's amazingly balanced and
trots with a huge stride of power.  We've still got a long way to go, but
he seems to do best with baby steps.

He's massively built and steals everyone's heart with his "dashing"
good looks.  You can understand why I named him Fabio.
